2023 Friday

CAST

Arrow Stage

Brit-pop royalty CAST are your Friday night headliners on the Arrow Stage!

Labelled ‘The Who of the 90’s’, Noel Gallagher once described watching Cast play live as a ‘religious experience’ and we can’t wait to reminisce on musical gems such as uber 90's anthem ‘Alright’, ‘Guiding Star’, and the show stealer ‘Walkaway’

Dr and the Medics

Arrow Stage

The unique blend of Psychedelia, Glam and Punk Rock are championed by the legends that are Doctor and the Medics and we are delighted to be welcoming them back to Camper Calling!

Their new album “The Optimal Mystic” is due out this year, with one track “Forever and Ever”, having already topped the Legacy chart in September 2022.  2023 sees the band set out for their 5th Decade of Medic mayhem and musical malarky! Not bad for a band that formed for a one off gig in 1982!

The “Spirit in the Sky” was watching over us for this booking and we can’t wait to be rocking with them once again!

Elvana

Lakeside Stage

It smells like cheeseburgers and teen spirit, daddy-o!
One of our most talked-about acts EVER, we knew we had to get the legendary ELVANA back for you in 2023. This time, the Rock & Roll icons of the afterlife will be gracing you on the LAKESIDE stage on Friday night!

Rock & Roll meets Grunge as Elvis fronts Nirvana and gives the band the frontman it has been missing since ’94. Elvana tear through Nirvana’s catalogue whilst splicing in sections of the king of rock & rolls finest moments, culminating in a whopper mash-up of overdrive & old school Rockabilly.

If you know, you KNOW this is one not to miss!

EMF

Lakeside Stage

This one is UNBELIEVABLE! British Dance-Rock quintet EMF will be hitting our Lakeside Stage, Friday at Camper Calling! Catapulting to popularity in the 90s with their platinum-selling album SCHUBERT DIP, their hits “Unbelievable”, “I Believe,” “Children” and “Lies” are synonymous with one of the most popular decades of British music.

Funke and the Two Tone Baby

Arrow Stage

Funke and the Two Tone Baby is a one man army. Uncategorised and uncharted. A blur of buttons and sweat. Powerful walls of grooving, dirty electronica and a whirlwind of energy walk a fine line between 90’s dance, electro-rock and alt-blues.

Created live and direct with loopers and samples, Funke and the TTB sets the bar of how much sound a one-man band can produce, as fat dance beats and filthy synth basslines are juxtaposed by a beaten up blues guitar, sing-along anthems and glitchy harmonica. Layered songs of positivity and social harmony mesh perfectly with compulsive dance grooves and infectious riffs.

Catch him performing Friday afternoon on the Arrow Stage at Camper Calling.

K Klass

Lakeside Stage

We’re thrilled to welcome K Klass to our Friday line up on the Lakeside Stage!

With hits like ‘Two Can Play That Game’, ‘Let Me Show You’ and ‘Rhythm is a Mystery’, K-Klass are responsible for some of the biggest house tracks ever made. This legendary British house duo have been spinning beats and moving feet for over 20 years and we’re thrilled to get them to Camper Calling. Get ready to party!

The Ed Sheeran Experience

Arrow Stage

We know how much our Callers have requested Ed Sheeran over the years. Now, since we can't afford the real deal, we thought we would treat you all to THE NEXT BEST THING!

Jack Shepherd is world renowned for his Ed Sheeran tribute shows after playing all over the world since 2015. Jack recreates every song completely live using a replica loop pedal to that of the man himself. With a show featuring all the hits and ballads, you are sure to have a full Ed Sheeran Experience. Don't miss him playing Friday afternoon on the Arrow Stage.

Sam Redmore and the Tropical Soundclash

Lakeside Stage

Producer and artist Sam Redmore is shaping a career as one of the UK’s most exciting new talents. His path has seen him evolve from club DJ and promoter to remixer responsible for a host of killer edits, to lighting up airwaves and stages from London to LA with his original productions.
Redmore may be the new boy on the Jalapeno Records block, but with credit from Craig Charles, Quantic, Nightmares on Wax and Danny Krivit already in the bank he is ideally placed to uphold the label’s ethos. His succinct summary that the album represents “music for dancefloors inspired by music from all over”, means no reveller is going home disappointed. Don’t miss the outfit, performing Friday afternoon on the Lakeside Stage.

Reignmaker

Arrow Stage, Friday

London’s Cable Street Collective have been favourites on the festival circuit since the release of their first EP, ‘The Best of Times’, in 2014.
