Loup GarouX

Lakeside Stage

Featuring the Mercury Prize-nominated solo artist and producer Ed Harcourt, Richard Jones of The Feeling, and Cass Browne (Gorillaz / Delakota / Senseless Things), Loup GarouX - “a nightmarish rush of visceral Birthday Party-style goth punk and the frenetic intensity of ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead” - made a fast impression with a hurricane of storming, snarling singles and kept a fierce momentum ever since.

Their debut album, Strangerlands, arriving in 2022 saw them described as “a raging, head-spinning sound of a Minotaur blasting its way out of a maze. It’s a beast with wings, roaring of Faustian pacts, new deities and eternal rock.” and “A magical beast of a band, dark & heavy embellished with gothic and horror influences - an explosive alchemy”.

Loup GarouX possess an impossible-to-pigeonhole mesh of influences which makes their epic romanticism and panache very much their own. Dig deeper and you’ll hear echoes of everything from The Stooges to Sonic Youth to Scott Walker and Springsteen, set to lyrics which explore ideas ranging from demonic Victorian-era spirits to obsessive fever dreams.

Under the banner of “The Best New Music To Listen To” - The Times announced Loup GarouX as “a rare thing: a supergroup who are bigger than the sum of their parts”. Do not miss this VERY special guest, Saturday afternoon on the Lakeside Stage.

Imperial Leisure

Lakeside Stage

From their humble beginnings in London as a party band born out of school friendships, Imperial Leisure have continued to go from strength to strength, forever evolving their style but sticking true to their reputation for delivering fun and high-energy live performances. Taking influences from all around, the music in part is a fun-loving throwback to the British 2-tone ska era delivered with 90s punk and hip-hop attitude. They’ll be bringing their infectious energy and big beats to the Lakeside Stage on Saturday!

Sammy Porter

Lakeside Stage

As one of the leading DJs on the circuit, a relentless touring schedule has allowed Sammy Porter to continue to smash dance floors and festivals across the globe. From London to Ibiz, Malta to Marbella and now, landing at Camper Calling, Porter will be kicking off the party on the Lakeside Stage, Saturday afternoon!

SHAI BRIDES

Arrow Stage

Fusing pop naivety with new wave paranoia, Shai Brides write music to accompany blinding lights and crowded rooms. Originating from a small bedroom with nothing but a cheap pitch-shifter and broken production software, Shai Brides have developed into a sound for the big stage, decorating their version of synth-pop with pixelated guitar riffs and the sparkle of retro arcade games.
Catch them playing Arrow Stage, Saturday afternoon.

The Clause

Arrow Stage

The Clause are a four-piece from Birmingham who have been jamming together since childhood. Blending the swagger of the 60s, the rolling groove of the 80s and the riotous verve and attitude of the 90s are Pearce Macca (front man), Niall Fennell (drummer) Jonny Fyffe (bassist) and Liam Deakin (guitarist). The band effortlessly combines huge hooks with gritty verses, indie sensibilities and rhythm and blues groove and melodies, creating a totally unique sound.

The Clause have coolly supported the likes of The Reytons, the Pigeon Detectives, DMAs, The Enemy and The Snuts as well as performing their own UK tours, not to mention rocking at the world-renowned Radio 1’s Big Weekend. With two singles already reaching No1 in the iTunes rock chart and just outside the Top 20 on the main chart, the band are destined for great things.

We’re thrilled to have them back again, this time opening the Arrow Stage on Saturday! Start your day RIGHT with The Clause!
