Five years after their inception, The Celtic Social Club are still thriving upon their traditional heritage, but also widening their influences to the richness of other genres and cultures. The band have been pursuing a fascinating journey in the modernization of traditional tunes from Brittany, Ireland, Scotland and Asturia, to name a few. On their third LP, the band have never sounded so tight and powerful with great reviews on both sides of the channel.
Recorded and produced in France, then mixed in the US by Manu Masko and New-Yorker Ariel Borujow (Black Eyed Peas, Cee Lo), their ten new tracks demonstrate the idiosyncratic synergy between tradition, songwriting and live energy. Bowen is a new wave rock act from London. Fronted by South London singer- songwriter Neve Bowen, taking her sad girl sound and turbocharging it into a New Wave band. With a shared love of bands from the late 70s (that they should be too young to have ever heard of!) the band came together to create their sound, blending influences from the likes of The Smiths, Blondie and The Pretenders with acts like Wolf Alice and Paramore.

Hailing from Birmingham, the electrifying 4 piece combine their penchant for intricate lyricism and captivating melodies with a touch of 2000’s nostalgia. This is evident in their latest single ‘Sunrise’, that leans into the idea of keeping hope despite the immense pressure of life. A collaboration of renowned industry professionals are responsible for the incredible level of production achieved, consisting of recording engineer Chris D’adda (The 1975, Kodaline), mixing engineer Andrea Cozzaglio (Anne Marie, Wet Leg, Inhaler) and mastering engineer Andy Baldwin (Oasis). The attention to detail in creating such a warmth and richness of sound is worthy of accolade and attention.

With mesmerising guitar playing and an ecstatic stage presence, Western Australia’s Ben Catley pours every ounce of his soul into his live show. Having toured across Australia, New Zealand and the UK many times over, he captivates audiences like few other solo artists.
Along with releasing tracks featuring the legendary Wim Hof, and recently supporting USA
blues icon Walter Trout, Ben is also often found performing shows with Si Mullumby (Wild
Marmalade), who is widely regarded as one of the world’s best didgeridoo players!
Recently playing Australia’s famous Bluesfest (The Doobie Brothers, John Butler), and with regular music releases, Ben’s creative style of guitar-focussed blues/roots/rock continues to evolve. While mostly known for his high energy acoustic style, Ben has recently been releasing collections of chilled, finger-style guitar instrumentals ‘Cloudcabins’, that he has now weaved into his live set, creating a diverse show of guitar craftsmanship.

They cite Nirvana, Arctic Monkeys, Supergrass and The Reytons among their influences.
The boys have been described by The Sherlocks as a ‘Proper Band’, The Reytons noted the band are ‘going to make some big waves’ and Reyt Good Magazine stated they’re ‘a notable upcoming name in rock'n'roll’. As played on BBC Radio Lancashire, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, Emma Taylor and the Wallflowers released their debut single ‘Fade’ last year, and this is just the beginning.
Residing in Manchester, they are a band of interchanging featured musicians, collaborating with singer-songwriter and frontwoman, Emma Taylor. Drawing upon influences of poetic lyricism from singer-songwriters Matilda Mann, Phoebe Bridges and Holly Humberstone, the band present this voice into a Fleetwood Mac inspired sound, captivating audiences with their storytelling and addictive melodies. Since forming, the band have taken legendary Manchester venues such as the main stage of Band on the Wall and Night & Day Cafe.
