London-based singer/songwriter Lewis Watson started his music career quietly uploading cover versions of his favourite songs to a sleepy Youtube in 2010. Fast forward eight years and he’s just released his soulful, insightful and lyrically beautiful, second album ‘Midnight’. We’re thrilled to announce he’ll be headlining the Freshly Squeezed Stage.

Into The Ark

The Voice UK sensations and runner ups on the show, Into The Ark will be headlining the Freshly Squeezed Stage at this year’s Camper Calling. Hot from supporting the legendary Tom Jones on tour, they’ll be heading to Ragley Hall to wow us with their incredible vocals, catchy tunes and irresistible indie vibes. Sounds like summer to us!

Ralph Taylor

Musician and vocalist Ralph Taylor was born and raised in Suffolk, where he first fused his blend of alternative pop with a loop pedal. Ralph now plays with his talented 4-piece-band, adding yet more edge to this already dynamic performer. Attracted to every genre, he’s blended his sound into a distinctive layered style. One for the summer playlist, it’s perfect Camper Calling listening!

Martha Hill

Martha Hill is an alternative pop artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne. After growing up as one of six siblings on a remote Scottish peninsula, she left home at 17 and spent two years touring across Europe as a street musician. Honing her craft and sound, she relocated to north east England and hasn’t stopped touring since!

Lauran Hibberd

No stranger to the festival scene, Lauran Hibberd has graced the stage at Bestival, Blue Dot, Isle of Wight, supported the likes of Clean Cut Kid and has recently sold out her first headline show. Grungy with a sprinkling of indie and smart, razor sharp lyrics, Lauran’s sound is one to keep you wanting more.

Georgia and the Vintage Youth

Georgia grew up listening to soul, motown, reggae and jazz, and it’s certainly distinguishable in the band’s style and performance. Having previously supported Squeeze, Georgia and the Vintage Youth have quite the fan base, and have worked alongside Neville Staple, Mo Pleasure of Earth Wind and Fire and more. The perfect blend of big band and theatrical sounds, they are sure to have you dancing in no time!

GeeJay

Meet Gina Jane and Jacob Lobo, AKA GeeJay. A fantastic fuse of Soul and Jazz, the North London duo are set to usher in a fresh voice to the modern jazz era. Expect smooth saxophone skills from Jacob with incredible powerhouse vocals courtesy of Gina. One not to miss!

FullMarx

The genre-defying singer, songwriter and producer FullMarx is a modern viral sensation. After paying his dues in the pubs and clubs of the country, Fullmarx had major exposure with a viral hit and was personally invited by Lucy Spraggan to join her on tour.
Clever, cheeky lyrics are sure to spin in your head all weekend long.

Bokito

Fun, carefree indie, these boys are the sound of summer. With a mix of rock, pop and infectious guitar riffs, Bokito’s melodies are sure to be number one on your playlist.
Drawing inspiration from Queens of the Stone Age, Justin Timberlake and Jeff Buckley, their sound never sticks to a genre for too long whilst perfectly fusing together to create songs to make you tap your feet!

Tom Joshua

Tom first picked up a guitar late in his teens where a few modest attempts at bedroom songwriting, evolved into something he hadn’t set out to do. He’s turned a fair few heads since then, sharing the stage with Old Sea Brigade, Billie Marten and being picked out as a favourite by BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley. We know you’re going to love him!

The Cosmics

This garage punk trio from Birmingham have been making waves across the UK music scene since 2015 with their energetic performances and punk tunes. Getting plays on BBC Radio 1 as well as BBC 6 Music, these guys have been compared to the likes of The White Stripes as well as The Undertones and Blondie. Here to make some serious noise at Camper Calling, we can’t wait to see what they bring.

This pop trio from Birmingham have spent years refining their sound and it’s certainly paid off. Picked as one of the best BBC introducing acts as well as being tipped by Capital FM as one Vodafone’s Big Top 40 future breakers, these guys are tipped to be the next big thing! Don’t miss them at this year’s Camper Calling.

Paul Smith

Opening the Freshly Squeezed Stage on Sunday this year is Paul Smith. A Camper Caller from day one, his relaxed style is the perfect vibe to get you ready for the festival mood!

Lost Tiger

Make room for the new boys on the block. Lost Tiger comprise of Zac and Alfie, 20-year old identical twins with a distinctive, high energy British indie sound.
 

Annie & The Make Believe

Annie & The Make Believe are a London based folk/pop band playing sweet, heartfelt music that will have you tapping your feet. Perfectly chilled for an afternoon at Camper Calling, their irresistible melodies are sure to have you adding them to your favourite playlist!

Bella McKendree

Growing up with four siblings in the heart of the British countryside, song-writing has always been an escape for Bella McKendree, helping develop her own identity. Her mother would sing classical music and listen to Simon & Garfunkel and The Fugees whilst her dad would play the blues and gospel pop at church. When her dad created a recording studio in the garden, she would escape there to sing. 

Her spellbinding vocal and willingness to stand up for what she believes in proves that there is much more than meets the eye when it comes to Bella McKendree.

Maria White

A 20 year old singer/songwriter, Maria has already been compared to the likes of Tracey Chapman and Macey Grey., Her soulful tone and emotive songwriting have lefd her to be featured on BBC Radio Kent as well as supported established acts such as Barbara Dickson. 
Currently in the process of recording her new EP, 'Blue Jumper', Maria is certainly one to watch! 

Sonia Stein

Sonia Stein creates the sort of songs that are full of drama and emotional complexities, songs that work their way into your subconscious and never let go. 

Despite a fairly restless upbringing of traversing across continents (Berlin, Poland, and America to name but a few), the music Sonia Stein creates is beautifully anchored. Quietly determined, she creates the sort of songs that are full of drama and emotional complexities, describing ‘One Of Those Things’ as being about, “The stage of denial at the end of a relationship with someone or something. You hold onto it out of comfort and fear, hoping if you wait a little longer, some semblance of what you had in the first place will show up again.
