Headlining the Arrow Stage Saturday night, it’s Kula Shaker!

Named after a 10th century south-Indian King, Kula Shaker first carried their royal flag of retro freakery and spiritual sonics to the toppermost of the poppermost during the heady days of Britpop, with songs like ‘Tattva’ and ‘Hush’ from the multi-platinum selling album ‘K’. Fast forward to the present day and 2024 sees the band ride out once again, mystical-machine-guns-a-blazing, with the release of ‘NATURAL MAGICK’ — their brand new 7th studio album.

With their live shows being less like gigs than bona-fide happenings, their positive energy is sure to soar around Camper Calling for all to enjoy.

The Bluetones are playing Saturday at Camper Calling!

In ‘95 when their debut release broke into the Top 40, The Bluetones were launched into the industry with 14 hit singles such as ‘Slight Return’ ‘Sleazy Bed Track’ and ‘Bluetonic’, and 6 albums followed on. After years of successful tours and worldwide shows, 2024 will bring brand new music from The Bluetones - their first in 14 years!

Following their totally epic set at Calling ‘23, we had to have the legends Dick & Dom back to bogie, I mean boogie, with us again!

With two incredible sets to look forward to, there’s simply no way you can miss this energy-filled, hilarious DJ-ing duo! Join them at Lakeside early Saturday for their ‘In Da Noughties’ set, followed later over on Arrow Stage for their rave show!

Prost! It’s not Camper Calling without the return of our beloved Bierkeller Schunklers. Once more we welcome you to raise your stein Saturday night at Aüguztfest!

A legendary night at Camper Calling and known to be one of the most popular, you’ll laugh until you cry ensuring not a dry eye (or glass!) in the house!

Fancy dress is STRONGLY encouraged, so ready the Lederhosen and get on your Dirndl and prepare to toe tap, clap and thigh slap the night away!

Louisa Johnson

Joining us at Camper Calling 2024, it’s Louisa Johnson!

At just 17 years old, Louisa rocketed into the charts after winning The X-Factor in 2015. Since then she has produced knockout singles such as ‘So Good’ and ‘YES’, and featured in ‘Tears’ with Clean Bandit, ‘Always Be There’ with Jonas Blue, ‘Unpredictable’ with Olly Murs, to name but a few enormous hits.

Louisa’s effervescent spirit is sure to bring the party on the Lakeside Stage Saturday afternoon and we can’t wait!

The Kairos

Back and even bigger than before, it’s The Kairos!

In 2017, 4 lads growing up amongst Liverpool’s omnipresent music scene decided to start a band. Their debut single, Money Mind, set a blistering benchmark for the tracks that followed - As well as establishing their proud influence in Rock music. With songs falling out of their ears, the band released their EP "Better Late than Never" in May 2023, with lead singles "Thick Of It" & "Trip Through The Night" receiving airtime on national radio. And this is only the beginning.

DJ Yoda’s work consistently underscores his wit, originality and ambition. Andrew Cushin

We are excited to introduce Andrew Cushin to the lineup!

This singer-songwriter has been heralded as a major new talent by legends of the music industry and we’re thrilled to be welcoming Andrew Cushin to Camper Calling.

With Noel Gallagher producing and performing one of Andrew’s tracks, and Grammy-winning producer Richard Woodcraft on another, this industry backing is already setting the 23-year-old up for a huge career.

His lyric-writing conjures personal and reflective modern social issues, but those serious themes are delivered through songs with huge, pints-in-the-air singalong appeal. Catch Andrew’s set on the Lakeside Stage, Saturday afternoon!

Bastie joins the Camper Calling lineup!

Bastie is an indie-pop singer-songwriter and UK Songwriting competition finalist who is influenced by Sam Fender, Lily Allen and Bowie. Long-time collaborator and producer Brett Shaw (Foals, Florence + the Machine) is currently working alongside the singer and band to create a whole host of exciting 2024 releases. Meanwhile, Bastie’s first release of the year - ‘Whisky’ - is set to drop soon.

Having received praise from media such as BBC Introducing, HotPress, Earmilk and Clout and with Bastie about to appear in an upcoming Netflix show playing the track ‘Handbags and Gladrags’ - they can't wait to take on 2024. Catch them opening the Arrow Stage, Saturday afternoon!

Hailing from Manchester, Dirty Blonde offer a cool/rock northern vibe with a twist of punk in the mix. Their new single, “Favourite Record” made waves in social media and huge things are set for the girls as they start to make an impact on the live scene.

This cool-girl set will be opening the Arrow Stage, Friday! Make sure you’re there.

The Great Malarkey

Freshly Squeezed Stage

A riotous mix of musical styles and genres, bringing perfect musical chaos to the Freshly Squeezed Tent on Saturday night, it’s The Great Malarkey!

Influenced by the likes of Tom Waits, Pixies, The Pogues, Beirut and Toots and the Maytals (the latter of whom they supported with only their third gig), the band deliver raucous and explosive, “balls to the wall”, high energy live shows. Grab a pint and some space to dance and flail your body around because The Great Malarkey never disappoints! They bring their whole heart to every song, every show, every album and anyone who wants to listen.

Ben Catley

We’re welcoming him back to Camper Calling, it’s Ben Catley!

With mesmerising guitar playing and an ecstatic stage presence, Western Australia’s Ben Catley pours every ounce of his soul into his live show. Having toured across Australia, New Zealand and the UK many times over, he captivates audiences like few other solo artists.

Along with releasing tracks featuring the legendary Wim Hof, and recently supporting USA

blues icon Walter Trout, Ben is also often found performing shows with Si Mullumby (Wild

Marmalade), who is widely regarded as one of the world’s best didgeridoo players!

Recently playing Australia’s famous Bluesfest (The Doobie Brothers, John Butler), and with regular music releases, Ben’s creative style of guitar-focussed blues/roots/rock continues to evolve. While mostly known for his high energy acoustic style, Ben has recently been releasing collections of chilled, finger-style guitar instrumentals ‘Cloudcabins’, that he has now weaved into his live set, creating a diverse show of guitar craftsmanship.

We’re excited to welcome emerging band Emerson to Freshly Squeezed!

Emerson are a four piece indie rock band hailing from Hampshire, England. The culmination of three vocal harmonies, heaven sent melodic guitars and nervy, ambitious lyrics results in their refreshing sound. Drawing from a range of diverse influences, they create a captivating live show and we’re thrilled that they’re joining us, bringing a setlist of your favourite indie hits to the stage! Get ready to ROCK Freshly Squeezed! Ruben Seabright hails from Worcester, bringing acoustic riffs and big vocals. He specialises in renditions of rock, grunge, punk and metal so expect to hear stripped down versions of Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Biffy Clyro and his original tunes! Make sure to catch him on Saturday afternoon!
